If you’re trying to get your 2017 marketing strategy plan together … let Wendy and I know.  We’d love to meet your for coffee, learn more about your goals, and offer tips for supporting the success of your marketing strategy.

In the meantime, here are some ideas to get you started!

Throw More Stuff at the Wall

When Wendy and I began bWyse we had many a long conversations about what marketing strategies would work best for our business.  The way we summed it up was to, “Throw everything at the wall, and see what sticks.  Then throw more of what sticks at the wall.”  Today, there are a tremendous amount of different strategies and techniques that small businesses can use to support their on and off line marketing efforts.  This year make an effort to do more of what is working for you … and also try new things.  What social media marketing techniques have you not yet put into practice?

Customer Retention Marketing

Today’s customers have tons of choices … all at the swipe of a fingertip.  Small businesses will further recognize the importance of customer retention and will adjust their marketing efforts to do the best job possible to retain their existing customer base.  What types of value-added services do you have to offer to your existing customers?

Leverage Your Content More Wisely

None of us (small business owners) have the time that it truly required to successfully implement and manage a complete and comprehensive online marketing strategy.  This year the trend is to work more wisely to leverage the content you generate and distribute it consistently across all of your marketing channels.  For example, get on a regular blogging schedule.  Then, each time you blog, have a process already in place for slightly modifying and distribution the blog content across all of your marketing channels.  Send out an email blast that refers your readers back to your blog post.  Write a blog about this month’s current special offer, and post it across all of your social media channels.  What other content can you turn into marketing collateral that you can use across all of your marketing channels?
