Communicating with your customers and prospects on a regular basis is a fundamental part of your marketing strategy. One of the easiest ways to accomplish this routine tactic is through email marketing. Here are a couple ideas of the types of emails you could send out to your community.
Share Your Social Media Updates in an Email Digest
When you write a new blog post, create a must-see infographic, or post a new video on your website, also should share it in an email blast digest. You don't want to send an email out for each social media post. However, you could send a compilation of the posts for the previous couple of weeks. This ensures that more of your community will see all of your fabulous content!
It would be amazing if your target audience checked your website or blog on a daily basis, but that’s probably unrealistic. Your new post might go unnoticed, unless you tell people it exists. That’s where email comes in. Send an email that offers a brief summary of what’s new and share links.
Send Out Customer Appreciation Emails
It’s common to send emails that updates your clients about recent news, or encourage sales, but sometimes it’s a good idea to just say thanks. Everyone appreciates a thank you, which is why it is a great idea to take the time to express it.
Whether your non-profit just reached a campaign goal, or your business just hit a milestone anniversary, send an email thanking your donors or customers for being part of that success.
And remember when you are designing your email blast layouts ... over half of all email is displayed on some form of mobile device; iPhone, smart phone or tablet. The best email layout design is a single column layout.
