Google Removes Customer Review Link from G+ Pages

BWYSEBLOG_GooglePlus_RateReviewPopup.jpgWendy and I have consistently preached over the years just how important customer reviews are to small businesses.  And … the online customer reviews that carry the most weight are Google Reviews.  On all of the business websites we build, we always include links to review sites to make it easy for customers to review the business.

In the past several months Google has been busy revamping things again … as well as redesigning the Google Plus page layout.  One of the most impactful changes is the removal of customer reviews from Google Plus pages for businesses.  This makes it really, really difficult for a customer to be able to find where they can leave a review for a business on Google.

Reviews have been moved to be a part of Google Maps now.  So in short, you now need to direct your customers to search for your business listing in Google Maps, and then look for the reviews link, where they will then be able to leave you a review.

However ... Wendy and I have discovered a way to create a shortcut link directly to your Google Reviews.  If you would like us to share it with you, just comment below.  Please include name of your business and city/state so we’ll be able to create the link for you!  And ... if you are so inclined ... please leave us a review.  REVIEW BWYSE INTERNET MARKETING!
