The Best Time to Share on Facebook for YOUR Business

In general, there are some specific statistics you can follow to help guide the best time to share content on your Facebook Page. 

• How often should you post?  The best fan engagement occurs when you are posting about every other day.
• What time of day should you post?  The best times each day when the most fans are using Facebook are at noon, and at 7:00 pm in the evening.
• What is the best day to post shares?  The best day to generate the most shares on Facebook, is on Saturday.

These statics are a good rule of thumb to follow.  However, with the recent Facebook updates to their Insights, you can now determine specifically when is the best time for YOU to share your content!

To figure out the best time to post on Facebook for your business, you'll want to go to your Business Page Insights.

Select SEE INSIGHTS from the top right of your Business Page.

Select POSTS to view your fan activity.

Then you can view your fan activity by day, and also by time of day.

The top bar graph shows the days of the week when most of your fans are online. The chart below shows the times each day when your fans are online.

Mousing over each day of the bar graph shows you the specific data for that particular day.  Spend some time looking at your statistics, and determine the best time to share your posts.
